ITC Employment Policies

  • Standard business hours: ITC normal business hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some offices close during the lunch hour.
  • Nonstandard hours: For systems deemed critical by the institution, support is provided outside standard business hours.
  • Standard employee work hours: To ensure support coverage, ITC normal staff schedules are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Individual schedules during these hours are at the discretion of the manager. Some staff will be assigned to different shifts. Exceptions to these hours can be made only at the discretion of a senior director. Exceptions can be made to accommodate customer needs or work productivity issues. To be eligible for schedule exceptions, the employee must be in good standing.
  • Confidentiality and nondisclosure: All staff within ITC are required to sign a Confidentiality and Nondisclosure form.

Student Employees

Students are the “front line” of support at the IT Walk-in Center. All positions in the Consulting Services group are filled on a term-by-term basis. The application process occurs over a two to three-week period before the start of every term. Applications are available at the IT Walk-in Center in Baker/Berry.
