The Council on Computing and Information, Technology and Consulting issue a technology survey annually to the Dartmouth A&S and Guarini faculty.
The survey is created to gain insight into the faculty's technology service, support, and consulting needs. Faculty input is highly valued for better understanding and improving the services ITC provides.
The survey began on November 2nd and closed on November 30th. The results of the survey will be reviewed by the Council on Computing during Winter 2023 and the outcomes will be communicated.
Although the collection period for 2022 is finished, we invite you to continue providing your feedback at any time through the same survey form.
There was so much we wanted to ask, but we want to hear more from you (faculty). The survey was kept short and touches on only a few of the many important things that you may have thoughts or suggestions on. Subsequent surveys can be created as needs and interests arise.
This is the start of a yearly practice. What we learn from our survey results this year will help us improve the survey for next year and ensure the questions with the most impact will be asked.
The first survey is soliciting comments from just the A&S and Guarini faculty to begin, but we are working on a strategy to include the other schools and/or coordinate with them to send a companion survey at the same time.
The results will be reviewed and organized for presentation to the Council on Computing over the winter and a list of outcomes will be provided to the Dartmouth Community afterwards. The outcome report structure will adapt pending the type and quality of comments provided.
